Roy and Ollie

Roy was running around the various floors of the manor, trying to find something to do. The little boy was bored and Oliver was busy, like usual, so he didn’t have anyone to play with. He ran into the man’s office, trying to climb up his bookshelf like it was a jungle gym, before falling on the ground.

Kon stared at his father in shock before getting up and storming off from the table, back towards the forest, causing his two younger brothers to burst into tears. The rest of the fathers stared at them in surprise, not knowing what to say.

"Hey, that's cheating!" Roy smiled smuggly at the other boy. Kon was just too predictable, he always tended to get upset when losing. He put down his bow, clearly having won.

"No, it's not," he replied, "You got defenseless, and I was aiming at you. Could have killed you in a real fight."

Not Mine

"Stop it, you're going to get me in trouble!" Elijah had accompanied him to fish, but was playing in the water instead. "I need to catch dinner."

Parent Teacher Conference

Roy was waiting after school for the teacher conferences to start. All the kids had to stay after school and wait for their parents to come and talk to their teachers. The boy was pretty sure Oliver wouldn’t be coming, since he'd never bothered to before.
